Every Hero Who Just Joined “The Biggest League Ever”

For a lot of heroes, being in the Justice League is one of the greatest things they could achieve. It’s the team with DC’s strongest and greatest heroes, and for a long time, this led to the team being fairly exclusive. But now, after facing a major crisis, the Justice League is opening its doors and absolutely everyone is here.

The unlimited roster of this new Justice League was first seen in DC All In Special #1 by Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson. Not wanting to remain divided or weak ever again, the Justice League opens its doors to every single hero that DC has to offer, as long as they’ve proven themselves capable. Some of these heroes were pretty unexpected, and some were the obvious picks.

Superman Invites People To The New Justice League

With so many new heroes joining the Justice League, there are bound to be a few fan-favorites, and it seems that DC has gone out of its way to pick both unlikely candidates and ones fans have been asking for for years.

Superman Welcomes The New Justice League Unlimited Roster

One of the more surprising members of Justice League Unlimited is Booster Gold. Not because he’s undeserving, Booster Gold has been in the Justice League before, but what’s surprising is just how important Booster Gold will be to this story, as it’s already been stated that Booster will play a major role and will be featured throughout the Absolute Universe plotline. It’s a major honor to the character and puts Booster in a place of importance that he hasn’t been for several decades.

This marks the first time there’s been more than one Robin on the Justice League at a time.

Another interesting roster addition is the majority of Robins, with Tim Drake, Dick Grayson, and Damian Wayne both appearing on the team. This marks the first time there’s been more than one Robin on the Justice League at a time and the first time Tim and Damian have been on the Justice League. The Bat-Family is usually pretty isolated, only working within their own team, so having the Bat-Family join a larger team would be an interesting dynamic change. It’s not often readers see the three Robins work a case together with the addition of other heroes.

Justice League Unlimited Has Both Heroes And Anti-Heroes

The League Offers More Variety Than Ever

The New Recruits Arriving At The Justice League Unlimited Watchtower

The Justice League has usually been only for the purest heroes in the DC Universe, those who have continually proven that they’re willing to go above and beyond for the sake of goodness. Which is why it’s so surprising to see Black Adam in the Justice League now. Black Adam is a hero who has historically had no problems using lethal force, and that’s usually an absolute dealbreaker for the Justice League. But it seems Black Adam has either agreed to not use lethal force, or Superman has relaxed the rules for someone as powerful as Black Adam, who is seen contributing to powering the Watchtower.

Something surprising about this Unlimited Justice League is the fact it seems to be absorbing other teams. It’s unclear if teams like Justice League Dark, the Titans, or the Justice Society will continue on separately. They most likely will, but it seems they’re also members of the Justice League now. As Swamp Thing and Zatanna are shown on the roster, along with Dick Grayson, Starfire, Cyborg, and Raven. These characters are most often shown in Justice League Dark and Titans, respectively.

This new version of the Justice League also has an unbelievable number of Green Lanterns, the most the Justice League has ever had. The only ones it’s missing are Simon Baz, Kyle Rayner, and Jessica Cruz. Otherwise, the team boasts Alan Scott, Guy Gardner, Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and Sojourner Mullein.

Justice League Heroes Flying To The New Watchtower

It seems that this Justice League has every possible aspect covered. They have members of Justice League Dark to help with the magical element, and they have several Green Lanterns for the cosmic element, not to mention the huge number of street-level heroes to help with the regular issues on Earth. This Justice League roster has a hero for any possible situation, so that they will never be caught unaware again, like they were with Amanda Waller’s bid for absolute power in the past few months.

The magic side of Justice League Unlimited is also absolutely packed with some of the heaviest hitters, including Dr. Fate, Phantom Stranger, Raven, Zatanna, Deadman, and Shazam. With that many powerful magic users under one roof, there’s really no mystical threat that could pose any problem for Justice League Unlimited. Even as Darkseid attacks the Watchtower unexpectedly, it’s these magic users who end up being the key to powering Superman up enough to stop him.

With just about everyone here, it leads to interesting situations like Shazam and Black Adam both being in the Justice League now.

With such a huge roster, there’s also bound to be conflicting personalities. With just about everyone here, it leads to interesting situations like Shazam and Black Adam both being in the Justice League now, which could lead to major friction in the future. It’s an interesting premise that hasn’t really been explored before and is just another reason why the concept of this massive new Justice League is so exciting for fans. With practically everyone on the team, will they all be able to get along with one another?

Justice League Unlimited Is The Biggest Team In Comics Right Now

This new Justice League roster has made the team more powerful than ever, and it was already DC’s strongest team. No matter what threat they come up against, be it cosmic, magical, or just from Earth, the Justice League will have several heroes who instantly know how to handle it and are best suited for the job. It’s an incredible roster and with so many characters, it’s unlikely that anyone’s favorite will go unrepresented. The Justice League has had tons of roster changes over the years, but this is the first time that the Justice League has truly encapsulated absolutely everyone.
